Fire and Ice Festival in Ocean View helps raise money for Beebe Hospital

OCEAN VIEW, Del. Over 25 thousand visitors flocking to ocean view for the fire and ice Festival put on by the Bethany Fenwick Chamber of Commerce.

The event saw ice sculptures, live music, food trucks, and a Biergarten, raising money for the Beebee Hospital Emergency Unit in Millville.
Organizers say the event was a great way to bring people into the town during an otherwise slow week in January.
Biergarten sponsor Beach Liquors says they’re glad to support their local hospital and bring some joy to those participating.

“Here at John West park we are hoping to raise over 10 thousand dollars for Beebe health care through the drink competition partnership with our amazing restaurants and beach liquor here at the Biergarten,” said Event organizer and Bethany Fenwick Area Chamber of Commerce Director Lauren Weaver.

Beach Liquors Manager Chris Miller says he’s thrilled the day saw clear skies, sun, and a huge turnout.

“today’s turnout has been awesome mother nature has cooperated tremendously it’s just a great event for people to come out and support,” he said.

The final day of the festival is set to take place Sunday.
