Delmar takes down Milford with walk off single

DELMAR, Del.– Delmar took down Milford in a final score 4-3 with a walk off single on Thursday.

Milford struck first in the bottom of the 2nd with a sacrifice fly, they would add 2 more runs to their lead in the bottom of the 3rd. Delmar would begin their comeback in the bottom of the 4th with 2 RBI’s trimming the lead to 3-2.

Milford would try to pick off the tying run at 3rd in the bottom of the 6th inning, but the throw would go over the 3rd basemen’s head resulting in the Delmar tying the game at 3 a piece. Kyler Shepherd would hit the walk-off single for Delmar in the bottom of the 7th with 2 outs.

Delmar improves to 4-2 on the season while Milford falls to 3-4 on the season.
