Smyrna rolls through Cape, finishes season 8-2

LEWES, Del. – Smyrna finished the 2021 regular season on a high note, downing Cape Henlopen 54-8 in Lewes Friday night. The Eagles improve to 8-2, and will prepare for the DIAA postseason.

The Knight brothers – Wayne and Yamir – gave the Vikings fits all night long, slashing through the defense, powering the Smyrna offense that put up 40 points or more for the fifth time this season.

The Eagles enter the postseason having won seven games in a row, surrendering just 22 points in their final three games combined.
