WICOMICO COUNTY, Md. – This month’s Third Friday in Downtown Salisbury will feature the annual Christmas tree lighting.

The theme this November is Holiday Lights, getting ready for the holidays and spreading cheer. The streets will be filled with plenty of local vendors selling their arts and crafts.

Executive Director for the Salisbury Arts and Entertainment District Jamie Heater tells us to expect much fun this Friday.

“There will be full-blown holidays downtown, we’ll have the annual tree lighting ceremony with Santa and special dance performers, choir performances, and other bay brass musical ensemble plus shopping!” she emphasizes.

The tree lighting ceremony will be on Friday at 6 p.m. on North Division Street. A menorah for Hanukkah and Kinara for Kwanzaa will also be lit. This will be the last third Friday outside until the spring, so be sure to come out and kick off the holidays.
