During the investigation, police learned of another vehicle connected to Mena, subsequently obtaining and executing a search warrant for the vehicle. During that search, 10.2 pounds of marijuana, 5 grams of fentanyl, 124 bags of heroin, and 8.8 grams of cocaine were seized.

As a result, Mena was taken into custody and charged with carrying a concealed deadly weapon and multiple drug possession charges. He was held at SCI on an $86,250 cash bond.
