Delaware State Police investigating shots fired in Little Creek

LITTLE CREEK, Del. – Delaware State Police are investigating two separate shooting incidents that happened in Little Creek.

The first incident happened just after midnight on Friday in the 300 block of Main Street. Police say residents were woken up by the sound of gunfire. One resident found multiple bullet holes in their house after getting up and investigating. Troopers searched the area and found 22 spent shell casings on the west side of the residence in the roadway.

The second incident happened Sunday morning just after 4 a.m. Again, residents were woken up by the sound of gunshots. The same house that was shot on Friday had sustained more damage from bullets. Troopers searched the area and found more than 30 shell casings on the west side of the residence in the roadway.

No injuries were reported as a result of either incident. Police say there is no surveillance footage that they can work with at this time. However, suspects are described as three males wearing dark-colored clothing. Police say after shooting, the suspects entered two separate light-colored sedans and fled northbound on Bayside Drive.
