Salisbury Zoo to return to normal hours Memorial Day

SALISBURY, Md. – The Salisbury Zoo has announced they will be returning to their regular days and hours of operation beginning next week.

Starting Memorial Day, May 31st, the Zoo will open every day except Christmas and Thanksgiving Day from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The mask mandate has been lifted, but visitors are asked to keep a 6-foot distance from each other and honor the barriers in place for those animals proven to have higher susceptibility to COVID-19. The Zoo has set up distance viewing barriers for the lynx, deer, cotton-top tamarin, ocelot, and otter exhibits.

Due to space constraints, for now, the path for cotton-top tamarin, ocelot, and coati will remain closed.
