Firearms investigation leads to two arrests in Dover
DOVER, Del. – Dover Police arrested two people on firearms charges Wednesday afternoon following an investigation.
According to police, 23-year-old Trequon Seth was the subject of a firearms investigation and is a known gang member in the Dover area. Officers made contact with Seth at around 2:50 p.m. on Country Drive. At the time, Seth was found to be in possession of a 9mm handgun and approximately 57 grams of marijuana.
It was discovered during the investigation that 21-year-old Aalyah Casson is the one who provided Seth with the firearm, despite him being prohibited from possessing a firearm.
Seth was charged with three counts of possession of a firearm/ammo by a person prohibited, carrying a concealed deadly weapon, illegal gang participation, and possession of marijuana. He was held at SCI on a $46,050 secured bond.
Casson was charged with giving a firearm to a person prohibited and was released on a $3,000 unsecured bond.
