Suspicious behavior report leads to four arrests in OC

OCEAN CITY, Md. – Ocean City Police have arrested four people on drug and weapons charges following a report of suspicious behavior on Thursday.

We’re told a local boardwalk business owner reported to the OCPD suspicious activity in a parked vehicle in the 10-block of 8th Street. The citizen reported seeing the occupants of the vehicle preparing a white powdery substance on a digital scale.

During the investigation, undercover officers observed the vehicle occupants go up to the boardwalk, where they met with a group of males. Both groups were seen engaging in a drug transaction and then parted ways in different vehicles.

Patrol officers then assisted in stopping and searching both vehicles. During the search, police found black tar heroin, powder cocaine, a digital scale, packaging materials, cash, a 9mm handgun, and a loaded extended 30 round magazine. As a result, a total of four arrests were made.

36-year-old Ricardo Thomas of Temple Hills, MD, was charged with possession of marijuana 10+ grams, and CDS manufacture/distribute. Police say he also had a bench warrant. He was held on a $1,000 bond for the warrant and a $2,500 bond for CDS.

31-year-old De Angelo White of District Heights, MD, was charged with two counts of CDS possession not marijuana and CDS possession paraphernalia. He was later released on his own recognizance.

20-year-old Jordan Webster of Beltsville, MD, was charged with possession of a firearm as a minor, handgun on person, loaded handgun on person, loaded handgun in vehicle, and handgun in vehicle. He was held on a $3,500 bond.

20-year-old Savion Gallion of Riverdale, MD, was charged with possession of a fiream as a minor, handgun on person, loaded handgun on person and in vehicle, handgun in vehicle, possession of marijuana 10+ grams, failure of vehicle driver to stop after unattended damage accident, failure of vehicle driver in an accident to locate and notify the owner of unattended vehicle, and operating a vehicle with occupant under 16 not restrained. He was held on a $3,500 bond.
