Police working to identify armed robbery suspect in Seaford

SEAFORD, Del. – Delaware State Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man wanted in connection to an armed robbery that took place Friday afternoon.

At around 12:15 p.m., police say the 65-year-old male victim was sitting in his vehicle while parked in the parking lot of the Middleford Deli. The suspect allegedly approached the passenger side window and knocked on it, and as the victim put down the window, the suspect pointed a handgun at the victim and told him to hand over all of his money.

The victim immediately got out of his vehicle and ran to the business entrance as the suspect tried to open the passenger side door of the victim’s vehicle, but was unsuccessful. The victim gave the suspect n unknown amount of money out of fear of what the suspect would do next. The suspect then fled the scene in a white Nissan Titan pickup truck.

No one was injured. The suspect is described as a man, 30 to 40 years old, 5’8″ to 5’10”, and 175 to 195 pounds. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a gray hooded sweatshirt, and a black face mask covering.
