Woodbridge ends Cape Henlopen’s undefeated season

LEWES, Del. – Woodbridge got their revenge Friday night, defeating Cape Henlopen 47-41 in Lewes. The loss brought the Vikings undefeated season to a crashing end.

Cape Henlopen controlled the pace for much of the first three quarters, but Woodbridge would take all of the momentum into the fourth quarter.

Deaysha Jones dropped 8 points in the fourth quarter, including two 3-pointers, to propel the Blue Raiders to a lead they would not relinquish.

Woodbridge was led in scoring by Cha’Kya Johnson (17), Jones (13), and Janeira Scott (9). Cape Henlopen’s leading scorers were Mehkia Applewhite (21), and Morgan Mahoney (11).
