Bayside Football Preview: North Caroline Bulldogs

SALISBURY, Md- The title of the most dynamic football program in the Bayside, at least as of late—goes to the North Caroline Bulldogs. The ‘Dawgs have had massive success over the past five years, from deep state playoff runs, to big-time college prospects.

Head coach James McCormick, the longest tenured head coach in the Bayside Conference–says even though there isn’t much to play for, the plan is still to win. “We wanna compete. There’s no playoffs but you want to win games, that’s a part of the deal.”

McCormick insists that the Bulldogs will employ a plan to let their seniors soak in their last high school football experience, while prepping for the upcoming fall 2021 season. “You want to make sure the seniors get the opportunity to play and enjoy their senior season. But at the same time, we’re looking at 5 or six months from now in August, we’ve gotta get these young guys on the field. So we’ve gotta figure out a balance with the two so we can get ready for next year but take care of our kids this year.”
