Ricketts drops 19, Seaford completes second half comeback
FELTON, Del. – Seaford downed Lake Forest for the second time in 2021, 66-61, Thursday evening in Felton.
The Blue Jays found themselves down double-digits in the third quarter, but rallied for the comeback win in the fourth.
Kaheim Kimbrough-Roach was terrific, scoring 26 points, but found himself in foul trouble late in the third and had to be removed. Seaford pounced at the opportunity, slashing the deficit to just three entering the fourth.
Roach would eventually foul out in the final minutes.
Seaford’s excellent ball movement led to five players recording points in the final period. Ricketts scored 9 of his 19 in the quarter, including going 5-for-6 from the charity stripe.
Tyrese Fortune added 18, while Booker DeShields deposited 12.
Freshman Jackson Starkey scored 25 in the losing effort, including four 3-pointers.
