Private tours available to see otters at Delmarva Discovery Museum

POCOMOKE CITY, Md. – There’s probably no better way to spend your day than watching cute otters flip around in water all day, and now you can do just that the Delmarva Discovery Museum.

The museum is now offering private, either guided or self guided tours throughout the museum, and we’re told one of the biggest hits has been the otter exhibit.

Tours are available Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. and it costs just $10 for adults and $5 per kid. Plus, we’re told it’s the perfect way to have some fun, learn stuff about these critters, and of course stay safe and socially distanced.

“With the private tours that we’re doing we’re only allowing in a certain amount of people, which will help lower the numbers, help keep with the social distancing,” Ashley Thierfeldt, Education Coordinator, said.

The museum is also bringing back a fan favorite: Otterly Silly Saturdays. Starting this Ssturday, the otters will be out for visitors to see them getting some treats and to learn about them. If you want to buy tickets for one of those private tours or to reserve your spot on a Saturday, you can do so by calling the museum, or by visiting their website.
