Wicomico Sheriff’s Office investigating tips regarding Friday homicide

WICOMICO COUNTY, Md. – Wicomico County Sheriff Mike Lewis says their office is actively investigating all tips and leads after a 28-year-old man was found dead in his Hebron home, late Friday night.

Sheriff Lewis tells 47 ABC, Tyler Gravenor’s family went to check on him at his home in the 100 block of East Church Street after not hearing from him for a couple of days. We’re told the family found the victim’s body with signs of trauma and called police. The Sheriff says they have ruled out suicide as the cause of death and they also believe this was a targeted act violence.

“I just received a phone call from a female subject who wished only to speak with me regarding specific details she had about the case. So we are working very aggressively on this case. We are tracking down all leads and we are confident we will solve this case,” says Wicomico County Sheriff Mike Lewis.
