SALISBURY, Md. – A Salisbury man is behind bars following an investigation into the manufacturing and distribution of cocaine.
According to police, a search and seizure warrant was obtained for 57-year-old Briggett Ellis following the investigation. On October 21, detectives observed Ellis riding a bicycle in the area of Mill Street and Isabella Street and subsequently detained him. A search of his person led to the discovery of numerous individual bags of crack cocaine ready for sale, packaging material, and cash.
Detectives additionally requested and were granted consent to search the residence that Ellis was seen leaving in the 400 block of Lake Street, leading to the recovery of additional evidence indicating the manufacturing and distribution of crack cocaine.
