Results are in for the town of Berlin’s 2020 Municipal Election, Tyndall wins Mayoral election

BERLIN, Md. — Tuesday night Berlin residents headed out to the polls, to vote in the 2020 Municipal election.

Finals results came through around 10 p.m., indicating that councilmember, Zack Tyndall has won the race for mayor with 846 votes, beating 12 year incumbent, Mayor Gee Williams, who received 184 votes. Opponent, William Todd came in third with 111 votes. Registered Nurse, Jennifer Allen came in fourth, with 49 votes and Ronald Bireley received 36 votes.

We also have results from the Council District 3 seat, with Shaneka Nichols winning with 199 votes. Daniel Packey follows with 41 votes.
Another raced we followed was the Council At-Large seat, and Jay Knerr was determined the winner with 606 votes. Opponent, Anthony Weeg followed with 496 votes.
There was only one candidate for The Council District 2 seat, Jack Lee Orris, who was declared the winner in Tuesday night’s election.
