B106.1 FM Switching to Christmas music

SALISBURY, Md. – Saturday is Halloween, but it’s never too soon to get into the holiday spirit, especially with a little bit of Christmas music!

And you won’t have to go looking for that Christmas music, B 106.1FM is switching over to Christmas music 24/7 on November first.

Station officials say they’re excited to switch a bit early this year because, as we all know, 2020 has been a bit of a rough year. They say they’re hoping the switch brightens people’s moods and gets them in the holiday spirit.

“We just hope to put a smile on people’s faces, and let them know that there are people out there that care, we’re all in this together, and hope that we can all move forward and get past this, but Christmas seems to put a smile on people’s faces, and gets the kids in gear, and gets the kids excited,” Steve Corsi, the Vice President and General Manager, said.

The radio station is also doing their twelve gifts for Christmas throughout the holiday season, and those gifts include a 55 inch TV, a laptop, and several gift cards from local businesses. You can find entry slips for those prizes at various businesses throughout the area, but to find out exactly where the entry boxes will be, you’ll have to tune in to the radio station.
