Incident at Dover hotel leads to three arrests
DOVER, Del. – Dover Police arrested three men early Monday morning following an incident at a local hotel.
We’re told at around 1:40 a.m., officers responded to the Days Inn at 272 North DuPont Highway for a welfare check after a 34-year-old woman reported that she was in fear after being in a room with a group of people and one subject displayed a firearm and reportedly did not allow her to leave.
On arrival, officers made contact with 28-year-old Jermere Dorsey, 33-year-old Leotaud Guerra, 43-year-old Herman Stevens. The subjects were found to be in possession of a .45 caliber revolver, 13 grams of ecstasy, 34 grams of marijuana, 28 alprazolam pills, and 9 oxycodone pills. All three were subsequently taken into custody.
Dorsey was charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, two counts of possession of a firearm by person prohibited, possession with intent to deliver marijuana, aggravated menacing, and drug paraphernalia. He was held at SCI on a $106,000 cash bond.
Guerra was charged with possession of ecstasy, possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance (prescription drugs), and drug paraphernalia. He was released on his own recognizance.
Stevens was charged with possession of a controlled substance (prescription drugs) and released on his own recognizance.
