SALISBURY, Md. – Police say two men were arrested on drug charges following a recent investigation.

We’re told the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office Community Action Team established surveillance on a residence in the 1100 block of Middleneck Drive, involving 35-year-old Alonzo Johnson. Johnson was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant.

A search and seizure warrant was then conducted on the residence, resulting in the recovery of an amount of crack cocaine and ecstasy/MDMA indicative of distribution, as well as packaging and digital scales, indicating the residences were involved in the sale of controlled dangerous substances.

Johnson was subsequently charged with possession with the intent to distribute cocaine and possession with intent to distribute ecstasy/MDMA.

Another resident, 35-year-old Brian Jones, was also arrested and charged with the same charges as Johnson. Both men were held without bond.
