Delmar School District announces reopening plans

DELMAR, Del. – The Delmar School District is also announcing their reopening plans for the coming school year. The Board of Education decided that the school year will start on September 16th for grades five through 12.

Students in grades five through 12 will take part in virtual learning until November 16th. Hybrid in-person and online instruction will begin the next day. A technology request form will be sent to families next week – and students can request to borrow a laptop.

It’s important to note – lower school children are not yet a part of Delmar’s reopening plan. The district says it will continue to update families and students in the coming weeks.
