Del. health officials announce 192 new COVID-19 cases, 2 new deaths
SMYRNA, Del. – The Delaware Division of Public Health says there are two new deaths from coronavirus in the state.
We’re told both individuals were long-term care residents of Kent County who had underlying health conditions. To date, 512 Delawareans have died as a result of the virus.
In addition, officials say there are 192 new cases in the state, bringing the total number of cases to 11,923. New Castle County has had the most cases with 5,277, while Sussex has had 4,847, and Kent has seen 1,730. 57 individuals are currently hospitalized, 13 of whom are critically ill.
6,692 Delawareans have made a full recovery from the virus.
