121 new COVID-19 cases, 2 new deaths in Del.
SMYRNA, Del. – The Delaware Division of Public Health is reporting two new deaths related to the coronavirus in the state.
We’re told the most recent deaths involved two New Castle County residents in their 80s who both had underlying health conditions. To date, 514 Delawareans have died from complications of the virus.
Officials are also reporting an additional 121 cases, bringing the statewide total to 12,414. New Castle County has had the most cases with 5,555, while Sussex County has had 4,977, and Kent has had 1,784. 56 individuals are currently hospitalized, 15 of whom are critically ill.
6,815 Delawareans have made a full recovery from the virus.
