Delaware State Fair only 30 days away

HARRINGTON, Del. – The Delaware State Fair will is officially 30 days away, but things will look quite different in Harrington this year.

Organizers tell 47 ABC they’re hard at work making sure the fair is safe for people who come and that they’ll spend the next month finalizing all of those safety plans. That includes plans for food, vendors, and outdoor and indoor spaces.

We’re told organizers understand some people may not feel comfortable coming to the fair this year but that they’re happy to be able to give this annual tradition to those who do want to come.

“Our job is to roll out, this is how we’re going to present it, if you feel comfortable and safe, by all means we’ll have opportunities for folks to have a good time here in Harrington Delaware,” Assistant General Manager Danny Aguilar said.

We’re told there will be one last job fair on July 1st for anyone who is interested in working at the fair. That will be held in the exhibition hall from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.
