Local organization expanding donations and services

MILLSBORO, Del. – A local non-profit organization has been feeding those in need during the COVID-19 pandemic, and now they’re expanding their services. Absolutely Flawless Women Incorporated is now accepting clothing donations. “We had a member from an elementary school in our local area donate clothes, and so when the cars at the drive through dinner picked up their dinner, they were able to get out of their cars and go look at the clothes on the table,” said CEO and founder Leshell Dennis.

Dennis says Absolutely Flawless Women Inc. is trying to help people out with clothing because it’s just as important as food. “We were really shocked at how deep the need. You know people that are in need of – they don’t have enough money or food, and they can’t really go to the mall. So the clothes really came in handy,” said Dennis.

Dennis also tells 47ABC that the organization is expanding their help into Maryland as well. Absolutely Flawless Women Inc. is planning to hold an event at Salisbury Middle School in June. They’ll be giving away free, home-cooked barbecue.
