WiHi drops Dunbar, punches ticket back to Xfinity Center

SALISBURY, Md- The Wicomico boys basketball team is headed back to the University of Maryland College Park, after defeating Dunbar 67-58 on Saturday afternoon.

Sophomore guard Antwan Wilson led all scorers with 21 points and tallied 8 assists. Junior forward Jayson Handy finished with 18 points and 12 rebounds, sophomore guard Taiwan Hardy contributed 11 points and 5 steals, while junior center Jordan Butler assisted with 8 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 blocks.

The Tribe moves to the state semifinal game for the 26th time in school history. They will take on Frederick Douglass (Prince George’s County) on Friday at 7pm at the Xfinity Center, on the campus of the University of Maryland.
