Beebe Healthcare to open coronavirus screening line on Friday

LEWES, Del. – Beebe Healthcare is opening a coronavirus screening line to the public today, March 20th, at noon.

The goal is to provide screening and assessment of community members who do not have access to a primary care provider. If necessary, the clinician on the phone will be able to provide a physician order to be tested at one of Beebe’s Referral-Based testing locations.

Callers will need their driver’s license and insurance information ready when they call. If assistance is not immediately provided, callers are asked to leave a message and their call will be returned.

On March 20th, the line will be staffed from noon until 4:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, March 21st and 22nd, the line will be staffed from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Beginning Monday, March 23rd, the line will be staffed seven days a week from 8 a.m to 6 p.m.
