Woodbridge girls fall to visiting Red Raiders

GREENWOOD, Del. – The battle of the Raiders was a back and forth contest for most of the game, until Ursuline pulled away in the fourth quarter. The Red Raiders taking the match-up, 48-39, Thursday night.

Woodbridge was off to a hot start until Ursuline responded with a 14-0 run to end the first quarter.

Back-to-back 3-pointers by Sierra Smith put the Blue Raiders back on top, 21-20, for a short period of time.

Ursuline went 18-for-18 from the line for the game, including 11-for-11 in the fourth quarter to close out the game.

Cha’Kya Johnson led Woodbridge 15, Janeira Scott added 11.
