WiHi dances into the 2A championship; will meet Patterson for the title

WiHi tops Oakdale

COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The WiHi Indians came to play Friday night in their Maryland Class 2A semi final against Oakdale at the Xfinity Center on the campus of the University of Maryland.

Dorian Stevens set the tone early for the Tribe, starting the game 4-4 from the field for 12 quick points.

Collin Schlee would get the Bears offense rolling nearing the end of the half, cutting the deficit to 34-26 heading into the third quarter.

In the second half, WiHi wasn’t letting this one slip away. Late buckets by Keyshawn Marshall would secure the win as the Indians advance to Saturday’s state title game with the 57-51 win.

WiHi will meet Patterson at 6:00p.m.
