Cambridge Police Dept. launches anonymous drug tip form to curb illegal drug trafficking

CAMBRIDGE, Md. – In Cambridge the police department has launched a new tool in hopes of curbing drug activity in their city.

People can now use submit tips online and anonymously using a website.

We’re told this idea came about because police believe it’s easier for someone to email a tip rather than call.

Plus, it’s a way for the community and the police department to work together.

Captain Justin Todd from Cambridge Police Department says, “There things out there that we don’t see we has the police department need help from our community to help get these crimes off the streets and get offenders that are committing the crimes to get them off the street.”
