Sussex Central football in search of first state football title

Georgetown, Del.– Back in the Delaware football state title game for the first time since 2008, Sussex Central is looking to hang their first banner.

With a date setup for Saturday against Salesianum, Central will put the longest win streak in the state on the line.

The 11-1 Golden Knights let up less than five-and-a-half points per game, winning their last 11 games, seven of them being shutouts.

Power by the Barnes twins, Isaac and Isaiah, and with one of the best supporting casts in the state, Coach John Wells has his squad ready in hopes of making Georgetown a title town.
