UPDATE: Arrest made in double stabbing in Salisbury that left one man dead, sends another to hospital
SALISBURY, Md. – The Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office has made an arrest in the case of a double stabbing in Salisbury left one man dead and critically injured another Saturday afternoon.
The Sheriff’s Office tells 47ABC their officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Swan Road at 3:15 PM Saturday for reports of a stabbing.
The man pronounced dead has been identified as Frank Donaldson, Jr., of Delmar. The man critically injured has been identified as Charles Timothy Turner, of Salisbury.
When officers arrived on scene, they say they found the two men lying on the ground with stab wounds.
Donaldson was pronounced dead on the scene, and Turner was taken to the Peninsula Regional Medical Center where he remains in critical condition.
Salisbury resident Brendon Lee Fields was arrested in connection with the stabbing.
The suspect is charged with First Degree Murder, Attempted First Degree Murder, Second Degree Murder, Attempted Second Degree Murder, Assault First (two counts), Assault Second (two counts), Reckless Endangerment (two counts), Deadly Weapon w/Intent to Injure (two counts).
