Multiple agencies respond to Preston house fire

Officials say an entrapment was reported during the blaze.

PRESTON, Md. – Multiple agencies responded to a house fire with an entrapment, on Monday, in Caroline County.

According to the Easton Volunteer Fire Department Facebook page, a house fire on the 3500 block of Seaman Road was reported at 12:04 PM.  The Talbot Center alerted the Easton Volunteer Fire Department, to help the Preston Volunteer Fire Company fight the blaze.

The Easton Volunteers, with staffing of 11, provided mutual aid, along with other neighboring departments. Officials did not immediately say if anyone was injured as a result of the blaze. They also did not release a cause of the fire or how much damage was done to the home.
