Two arrested on drug charges at Dover hotel

Two people were arrested at a Dover hotel on Monday, after they were reportedly found with drugs.

Dover Police say Officers with their Drug Unit and Safe Streets Unit met with 29-year-old Karl Ingram and 22-year-old Gabriella Rivera at the Red Roof Inn. According to the report, Ingram fled on foot, but was arrested a short time later, during which he put up a fight, and injured an officer. Rivera was reportedly arrested inside of the hotel room, where she was staying with two children.

Police say during a search of the room, they found 94.4 grams of cocaine, 5.4 grams of marijuana, prescription pills, and a total of $3,258 in cash.

Ingram was charged with possession of tier 5 quantity of cocaine, possession with intent to deliver cocaine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, conspiracy 2nd degree, 2 counts of endangering the welfare of a child, resisting arrest, possession of controlled substance – pills, offensive touching on law enforcement officer, and violation of probation. He is now being held at the James T. Vaughn Corrections Center on $34,000 cash bond.

Rivera was charged with possession of tier 5 quantity of cocaine, possession with intent to deliver cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, conspiracy 2nd degree, 2 counts of endangering the welfare of a child, and capias. She was later released on $24,000 bond.
