Lady Hawks fall in home finale against Morgan

Morgan State knocked down a three in the first four seconds of the game, and held the lead for the rest of the game, holding down UMES 65-50, in their home finale in Princess Anne Thursday afternoon.

Morgan guard Braennan Farrar knocked down 7 three pointers on the way to a game-high 30 points, also dishing out 4 assists. Teammate Tracey Carrington added 22 points, while the rest of the Bears team scored just 13 points.

For UMES, senior Jessica Long was the only player in double figures, pouring in 17. The Hawks got within one point of the Bears early in the second half, but never were able to take the lead. UMES now looks to await their seeding in the MEAC tournament.
