Free File Program For Lower Income Residents In VA

VIRGINIA - The state of Virginia is also trying to give low to moderate income taxpayers a break. They can now use the state's free online program to prepare and file their returns electronically. Governor bob McDonnell says only a fraction of taxpayers who qualified for the Virginia free file program last year used it. There's also another program available for those who don't qualify.

Details for both can be found at the Department of Taxation's website, at www.tax.virginia.gov.
