Cambridge Rallies In The Second Half To Beat Easton

The Easton Warriors got a big win on senior night last week over WiHi and they looked to carry that momentum against Cambridge, who is having a great season.The Vikings would open the game up early on and to take a 6-0 lead over the Warriors after Tre Lake returned the kick-off all the way to the end zone. However, the Easton was not willing to give up, JoJo Marasco has been doing it all season long as he helped put the Warriors on the board with a run up the middle to take a 7-6 lead over the Vikings. Easton would not stop there, in the second quarter, TJ Nixon caught a touchdown pass to take a 14-6 lead over Cambridge, but that lead would not hold much longer. Nathaniel Lowe rallied for his offense to bring in a 42-yard touchdown and the Vikings added a 2-point conversion to tie the game up 14-14 in the second quarter.The game would be tied 21-21 heading into halftime, and while Cambridge continued to add to their score - Easton was shut out in the second half of play. With a couple Tre Lake touchdowns, the Vikings avoided the upset on the road. Cambridge got the win over Easton, 41-21.

Kent Island Gets The Big Road Win Over Queen Anne's

The Queen Anne's Lions took the road last week taking on North Caroline and fell short of a big upset, but this week they had another opportunity to make a statement taking on Kent Island at home. 

Heartbreak For Bennett Boys Soccer As They Fall To Atholton

The Bennett boys soccer team saw their season come to an end Thursday night when they fell at home to Atholton in the regional semifinals 2-1. The loss also ends the 24 year tenure of head coach Skip Ruark leading the Clippers from the sideline.

Queen Anne's Volleyball Takes Down WiHi

Queen Anne's athletics have seen a lot of success this fall and another one of their teams took the court today looking to add to that success. The volleyball team played host to Wicomico High School - in which the winner would go on to play Kent Island.

The Parkside girls soccer team was recently crowned the Bayside Champions after beating Queen Anne's in the finals just last week, but the Lions took another shot at taking down the Rams in the 2A State Tournament. 

SU Field Hockey Tops CNU In CAC Semi's

The Salisbury University field hockey team topped Christopher Newport University in the CAC Semifinals Wednesday night 2-1 to advance to the tournament championship. The win improves the Sea Gulls to 13-3 on the year.

Parkside Girls Soccer Roll Kent Island To Open States

The Parkside girls soccer team topped Kent Island 5-0 Tuesday night in the state tournament behind 3 goals from Blair Vilov. With the win, the Rams advance to face Queen Anne's on November 5th at 6pm. 

Bennett boys Soccer Top Chesapeake, Advance In States

The Bennett boys soccer team advanced in the state tournament Tuesday night after gutting out a 3-2 overtime win against Chesapeake off a game winner from Will Cooledge. The Clippers advance and will now face Atholton.
