The West Salisbury Little League team punched their ticket to the World Series on Wednesday after they pulled out a 7-6 win in 12 innings in the East Regional Championship game. The team now heads to Michigan where they will take the field on Sunday with a chance to continue their incredible tournament run.

The District 3 Senior League softball team saw their World Series run come to an end in the quarterfinals Friday afternoon when they fell in a back and forth battle with Canada 7-5. Canada would take the lead in the 6th, and close it out from there for the win.

The District 3 softball Big League team returned to action on Friday afternoon as they faced off against top seeded Southeast, pulling off the biggest upset of the tournament thus far, winning 2-1. Mya Maddox did it all for the host team, delivering the go-ahead 2 RBI double, while coming in to pitch in relief for the save.

Big League: District 3 Shocked Late By Southwest

District 3's Big League softball team controlled their game through 6 innings Thursday night against Southwest.Only problem was, they played 7.Southwest used a two run single to tie the game, before blasting a 3 run, go-ahead shot to win the game in the top of the 7th to pull out an improbable, 8-5 come from behind win.

Big League: District 3 Coast Past Latin America

The District 3 big league softball team earned their first win of the 2016 World Series in pool play Tuesday morning when they defeated Latin America 8-1. The win improves them to 1-2.

Senior League: District 3 Rolls Past Latin America

The softball senior league World Series is underway in Roxana, as District 3 earned their first win of the tournament as they topped Latin America 14-5. The win improves the host team to 1-2 in pool play.

MD Supreme Wins 2nd Straight Title

The Maryland Supreme team comprised of Stephen Decatur players won it's second straight Maryland Supreme League title Friday night when they defeated team Glen Riddle out of Wi-Hi 51-49. MD Supreme got the go-ahead bucket with 1.2 seconds left from Keyon Voyles, and survived a scare from Glen Riddle as they missed a lay in at the buzzer to tie.
