Eagles come from behind to win 3rd straight DI championship

The Smyrna Eagles trailed 20-8 with less than 4 minutes to go in the third quater in their DIAA Division I championship game against undefeated Middletown. The Eagles did everything but waver. Smyrna kept their composure to reel off 22 straight points to take an 8 point lead with 2:38 remaining in the game, and going on to win their 3rd straight title 30-27 at the University of Delaware on Saturday afternoon.
