The UMES men's basketball team snapped a five game losing streak, avenging an earlier season loss to Route 13 rival Delaware State with a 74-65 win on Saturday afternoon.

This wasn't suppose to be Stephen Decatur's year. They had graduated 5 key seniors last year, way before losing their coach to her battle with cancer. They fell to Pocomoke at home. The cards were stacked against them. None of that mattered on Thursday.
For the first 16 minutes, it looked like it was Cambridge's game to lose. For the last 16 minutes, it turned out to be Pocomoke's game to win.
