Sean Barney Will Face Kenneth Simpler For State Treasurer

DELAWARE – Sean Barney ran unopposed for the Democratic ticket for State Treasurer and will move to the November election.

Democratic current State Treasurer Chip Flowers, withdrew from the primary on August 28th, after he was accused of harassment by former deputy treasurer, Erika Benner.

Barney will face Kenneth Simpler of the GOP race for State Treasurer.

Simpler won over Cheryl Valenzuela for the republican vote.
