Tech The Halls With Tablets

It’s time to “tech the halls!” Sales associates at Best Buy say tablets remain one of the hottest items for holiday gifts this season.

It appears customers are preferring tablets over laptops. We’re told the turn-on for tablets is that they tend to last more then ten hours in-between charges, and you don’t have to wait to boot them up.

Sales associates say on average, they can also be more affordable than a laptop, and their touch screen features keep them easy to use.

John Theis, a Samsung mobile expert at Best Buy says, “You can add keyboards to them now, you can even actually add a mice to them, so a lot of people are really impressed with that taking that big laptop down to that small tablet.”

Although tablets are growing in popularity, it’s not always the perfect gift for everyone. Sales Associates say the purchase does depend on the person, and the intended use.

Sometimes with the amount of work that’s going to be done on the device, a laptop is required to get that done.
