Police: 1 teen killed, 2 injured in Wilmington gunfire

Police say one teenager is dead and two others are injured after shots were fired in a Wilmington neighborhood.

Police were called to the Hilltop neighborhood Friday evening and found two teens with gunshot wounds. Police say a 16-year-old boy had been shot in the head. He died at a hospital.

The other teen, 17-year-old boy, was shot in the chest and shoulder and was listed in stable condition. Police found a third victim, a 16-year-old boy, who had been taken to a hospital emergency room with a gunshot wound to the elbow. He was in stable condition.

Police said there is no initial information on suspects. Anyone with information is asked to call police.
