Kent Co. man wanted for attempted robbery

A man is wanted in Kent County, after allegedly assaulting a store employee at the Dover Mall.

According to reports, Deandre Harris, 22, Dover, walked in the Old Navy on Saturday evening and placed various clothing items into a bag.

Harris reportedly tried to leave the store with the merchandise and was confronted by a employee. Police say Harris threw the employee to the ground and assaulted him.

That’s when investigators say Harris fled the scene, leaving the merchandise behind.

A warrant is now out for Harris’ arrest. He faces various charges including attempted 2nd degree robbery.
