Boardwalk taskforce submits recommendations for performers

Boardwalk performers in Ocean City may have some changes coming their way this summer. The town’s boardwalk task force has officially submitted recommendations to regulate the performers.
The recommendations include increasing restrictions for the use of street level ramps and no music after 11 p.m. They also want to require performers to present proof of insurance and register for a permit.
The council is also suggesting assigned space for street performers with box delineations allowing them no more than 300 hundred square feet to perform.
