Senators come back to advance over Milford

The #11 seeded Dover Senators knocked off the #6 seed Milford Buccaneers 8-7, at Briggs Stadium on the campus of Milford Senior High School Wednesday night.

After being down 4-3 at the half, the Senators tied the game just minutes into the third quarter, when Austin Dooley-Rosas found himself wide open right in front of the net. Dover would get two key goals from Connor Ashoka Garrett in the second half to take the win.

The Senators advance now to take on the rival Caesar Rodney, winner advances to state semifinals. Game time is set for Saturday, May 23 at noon, at Caesar Rodney High School.
