UPDATE: Police arrest suspected drug dealer, and customers, in Dover

The Dover Police Drugs, Vice, and Organized Crime Unit say after they arrested a Dover man for dealing heroin on Tuesday evening, they also arrested several of his customers.

At about 6:30 PM, officers say they spotted 22-year-old Eric Gray reportedly conducting two separate drug transactions in the area of 455 New Castle Avenue. After a search of his home police say they found 591 bags of heroin and $2,724 in suspected drug money.

Gray was arrested and charged with possession of heroin, possession with intent to deliver heroin, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held at James T. Vaughn Correctional Center on a $70,000 cash bond.

According to the report, after Gray’s arrest, they also took 24-year-old Dillion Parrish, of Wyoming, into custody. Parrish had reportedly bough 8 bags of heroin from Gray. He was then charged with possession of heroin, and possession of drug paraphernalia, and released on bond.

Police say they also watched Gray speak with two cars on the Water Street Alley, and took the three occupants from the two vehicles into custody. Forty-year-old Theresa Butcher, of Dover, and 24-year-old Heather Grow, of Little Creek, from one vehicle, and 23-year-old Javon Richardson, of Dover from the other.

Butcher and Grow reportedly had 26 bags of heroin on them, and Grow also apparently had more than $3,200 in cash on her. Butcher was charged with possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia, and conspiracy 3rd degree.

Richardson, who Police say had .7 grams of crack cocaine, was charged with possession of crack cocaine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

All three were later released on bond.
