UPDATE: Funeral arrangements for Beau Biden released

There is an update on the funeral arrangements of Beau Biden.

According to the White House, on Thursday, the former Delaware Attorney General will lie in honor at Legislative Hall in Dover, from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM.

On Friday, St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church in Wilmington will hold a viewing from 1:00 until 4:00 PM and again from 6:00 until 9:00 PM.

A mass will be held on Saturday at St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church in Wilmington at 10:30 AM. President Obama will reportedly deliver a eulogy in honor of Biden.

Beau Biden, son of Vice President Joe Biden, died Saturday night after a battle with brain cancer. He was 46. Biden leaves behind his wife Hallie, daughter Natalie, and son Hunter.

The creation of a new foundation to honor Biden, has been announced. The Beau Biden Foundation for the Protection of Children, will reportedly stand up and speak out for those in the greatest need of a voice.

“I’ve known Beau since he was a child, and everyone in Delaware knows about his passion for helping and protecting innocent children,” said Fred Sears, President and CEO of the Delaware Community Foundation. “It’s an honor for us to be part of establishing his legacy with the Beau Biden Foundation for the Protection of Children.”
