Firefly artists discuss festival atmosphere

While at the Firefly music festival Friday, 47 ABC caught up with some of the artists that hit the stage.

All of those artists expressed to 47 ABC that performing at a music festival is much different when comparing it to performing in a traditional concert setting. For example, a club or an arena.

They say the energy of the fans is exponentially higher, which makes for an even better performance.

Goshfather and Jinco say,”It’s way different. People come to festivals to rage their faces off. The tried and tested things that we know are going to work are going to be exponentially explosive at something like this, with that many people who are ready to jump and scream.”

DJ Mustard says, “There were a lot of rowdy raging kids, but it was dope I liked it.”

Viv and The Revival says, “It’s so much fun because you get to see so many different acts from so many different genres and artists. It’s a blast.”

Saturday is day three of the Firefly music festival. The first performances begin at 12:30 p.m. with Cardinox and Filibusta.
