Monday Memo – September 21, 2015
MONDAY MEMO
TO: ALL STAFF
FROM: KATHLEEN
DATE: 21 SEPTEMBER 2015
UPDATE ON LOBBY RENOVATIONS
First of all, I want to thank everybody for adopting all of the plants in the Lobby planter before COB the day the memo went out. I wish everything could happen so quickly! Now that the plants are gone, it is apparent that the much rumored copper lining is much more likely to be badly stained tin with lots of mineral deposits.
We will have a sign-up sheet for available used furniture up today or tomorrow. If more than one person is interested, we will draw for the recipient on Wednesday, 30 September, and it will have to be moved out over the weekend of 3 & 4 October. Moving it will be your responsibility. Please do not sign up for it if you are not able to make those arrangements.
A correction to the Friday memo: the correct spelling of the flooring product for the office area (cork backed vinyl plank) is “Coretec”. Never mind how I spelled it on Friday, just be assured it wasn’t correct! ?
OUT IN THE COMMUNITY
- On Monday, David Caldwell will be speaking with 6th graders at Stevensville Middle School
- On Tuesday, I will be at a Mentoring meeting of several community service agencies on how to best maximize efforts following the launch of our locally produced mentoring PSA
- Wednesday morning, I will represent the Station at the re-dedication of the Bennett Middle School
STATION SCHEDULE
- On Friday, our new telephone system will be activated. While it is very similar to our current system, it has several new features you may be interested in using. There will be a tutorial emailed to you and your supervisors will be trained on the system so the change-over should be relatively painless in the short run and a very good thing going forward.
